On the Amritsari Food Trail
Introduction: Amritsar is famous for its delicious food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Some of Amritsar's favourite food items are puri-chhole, Amritsari fish, chicken or mutton chaap, golgappa, aam papad, jalebi, gulab jumun, gud halwa, and of course lassi.
Tour coverage: This walk takes you through Lawrence Road and Majitha Road, two foodie havens, where we'll sample the best that Amritsar has to offer. Some of our stops will be at street food carts, and some at small shops and restaurants. The food on offer will vary based on the time of day. The tour may be a little different each time, but there's no doubt the food will be heavenly!
The walk is suitable for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Please tell us your preference in advance.
